Bedford, David Musicien avant gardiste britannique, David Bedford est avant tout un ami de Mike Oldfield. Il était membre du groupe de Kevin Ayers et c'est à lui que Mike confie l'écriture de la version orchestrale de Tubular Bells, jouée par le Royal Philarmonic Orchestra. C'est sans doute lui aussi qui est à l'origine de Orchestral Hergest Ridge. Mike a collaboré à de nombreux morceaux écrits par David Bedford. On en retrouve la plupart dans Boxed.
